Bus Buddy is a physical visualization that displays current weather and real time bus times from Calgary Transit. The intent of this product is allow the users to see how much time they have to get ready before the bus comes. They can use the current weather display for daily outfit inspiration. The data from current weather is from OpenWeatherAPI. Bus buddy updates the weather every hour, and the bus times will update every 2 minutes. Every two minutes the little bus figurine will move according the estimated time of arrival.

Bus Buddy was created with a raspberry pi, a servo, and lego. Everything was implemented within a week with my partner Michael Hung. This project was done for my Physical and Tangible HCI course at the University of Calgary.
